This three story office utilizes the latest communication system and incorporates both a contemporary interior space with a traditional exterior facade. W-T is located in the Prairie Stone Business Park in Hoffman Estates, IL and is home to the many engineering and design companies which comprise the W-T team. Construction completed May, 2007.
Recon/Optical Incorporated - 32,000 SF
Recon/Optical, Inc., SRWS Facility (Stabilized Remotely Operated Weapon System), with their parent company in California, Bourns, Inc. is a privately owned defense contractor. Their contract with the U.S. Army for the Common Remotely Operated Weapons Station (CROWS) has prompted their need for this new Force Protection Technology Center and includes research and development of the CROWS Lightening system (for smaller caliber weapons). This device is a camera attachment mounted to an automatic weapon on the roof of a humvee and allows our troops to operate the device from the safety of the moving vehicle. Construction completed March, 2006.
