Land Development
Our involvement with Land Development has taken many forms. It is a process of ‘holding the client’s hand’ in navigating the land purchase. In Bloomingdale, KLN facilitated the sale for two clients on one parcel of land. Parcels were subdivided and developed with Covenants and Restrictions, common detention, berms, entry and roads for both clients.
Site Improvement
For other clients KLN has assisted in site selection, feasibility studies and land planning. Our services included facilitating zoning changes, public hearings and representation of our client at village meetings. We coordinated the wetland studies and Environmental Protection negotiations and constructed the entry, retention pond, road, curb, sewer, and water infrastructure which enabled our clients to build the single family homes in the Whispering Meadows Subdivision of Roselle. We also did similar services at Carey Townhomes in Wood Dale, President Manor in Carol Stream, Shiva Estates in Naperville and John Court in Bensenville.
